Let me tell you a little bit about our company...

What is now LV Wood Floors began its story around 25 years ago in an antique refinishing shop in Buffalo NY.

The name and face of the company have changed from time to time over the years; however some of the faces that make up the company have not, with long time employees still with us since the first day we laid a hardwood floor back in 1985. It was in that same year that the company opened its doors to the public as Buffalo Hardwood Floor Center. Through the hard work and dedication of the company’s founder, Jim Caroll, it wasn’t long before Buffalo Hardwood became a true leader in the wood flooring industry, winning multiple prestigious awards from the National Wood Flooring Association for its custom installations all over New York State.

Today the company has expanded to selling nationally, and its name has become synonymous with quality and innovation. For about 8 years LV Wood Floors has been selling out of its Buffalo offices via national advertising, word of mouth, and the integrity of its products. Today the company is entering another renaissance with the opening of its flagship showroom on West 20th St in Manhattan.

We believe in being the best, not the biggest. It is with that mentality that we have assembled a line up of products that is unrivaled in its style and taste. It may be bold to say, but it is likely that if you walk into our showroom or request samples from this site, you are going to find a wood floor that you love, but, if you don’t, you are always welcome to make one up for yourself.

While we love our flooring lines, our passion is developing unique, individual products that cater to an individual’s specific tastes. If you see something you like but that isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, tell us about it! We will make up samples and create a floor specifically for your project.
